Koreatown
Toronto's Koreatown is located with another Toronto neighbourhood; The Annex. Koreatown is a strip along Bloor St West between Christie and Bathurst St.
The area is also known as Little Korea, and is the business hub for most Korean-owned companies, stores, and services. Toronto's Koreatown is more of a place for businesses; there are not many Koreans who live in this neighbourhood.
Koreatown in Toronto is a relatively young neighbourhood. Korean immigrants arrived in Toronto around the 1960s but it wasn't until much later that this area formally became known as Koreatown.
In the early 1980s, more Koreans moved into this neighbourhood as the Central and South American community moved out. While not many of the Korean community live in this exact area, their stores, shops, and businesses remain strong.
The Koreatown culture is alive with flavour and fashion. This is a key neighbourhood to visit for hair and nail salons, bakeries, markets, travel agencies, and restaurants; all of the food, services, and products are strongly influenced by the Korean culture.
Restaurants
The cuisine in this Toronto neighbourhood is almost completely Korean or Korean inspired. This area has some of the best authentic Korean restaurants in all of Toronto. Also, the Korean BBQ's are well loved by the locals. Some of the restaurants are open 24 hours, which is great for late night snacks.
Koreatown is also the place to visit if you are looking for well made vegetarian cuisine. The bakeries in Koreatown are highly popular; try some of the delicious traditional sweets such as the walnut cakes!
If you don't feel like eating out, you can purchase Korean traditional ingredients and other foods at the markets or grocery stores in the area.

Entertainment
Entertainment can be found in Toronto's Koreatown in many forms, although there are other surrounding neighbourhoods which provide a wider selection. Koreatown has billiard lounges, a couple of clubs, and a movie theatre.

If you are looking for a really cool event, Koreatown holds a festival every June; the Dano Festival. The Dano Festival showcases the Korean culture in all its glory. The annual event has traditional music, food, and clothing, it also has a great presentation of martial arts!

Although there isn't much in the way of real estate or renting in Koreatown, since it is small and dedicated to businesses, but there are some great homes and apartments in the surrounding neighbourhoods. Koreatown is located in the heart of downtown Toronto so the prices will be higher then in the GTA.
